Implementation

German Implementations of CRISPR in Vitro

Teaching module CRISPR in vitro, explored by the project team in Thisted and evaluated in Evreux was implemented in the following state- and nationwide teacher lessons in Germany. In each lesson the demand was very high not only because CRISPR is such a powerful tool in gene editing and also won the Nobel Prize in 2020. The topic is now coming up in high school curricula all over Europe. Explored teaching modules in the project will have a huge benefit in an innovative education in modern biotechnology. Espacially teaching modules containing
hands on lab work are very demanded. Most physical lessons were open for 16 teacher colleagues because lab work places were limited to 16.
